over here it's freezing cold and rainy (*・・*)

Have you guys joined both my giveaways yet?
* for the voucher giveaway ^, be sure to leave a comment with your entry, otherwise your entry won't be valid

I've got my school river cruise on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll be able to take some nice photos to share!

Here's a review on one of my favourite eyeliners (◕‿◕✿)
I had to use a full flash for the photos *sigh* rainy weather = bad lighting

Etude house : Drawing Show Brush Liner BR401

Brand : Etude House
Name :  Drawing Show Brush Liner
BR401
Made In Korea
Price : Around $10
Amount : 1.5g

Product Info
This brush pen eyeliner conveniently produce smooth clean lines for stark definition.
Easy-to-draw Brush, smooth texture & smudge-proof.
Comes in two colours; Black [BK801] or Brown [BR401]

Directions
1. Use brush to trace lines of upper and lower eye lines.
2. For a stronger look, trace thick lines along upper and lower eye lines in one motion.

Packaging
It comes in a thin rectangular box and the actually brush liner is about the same thickness as holding a felt-tip pen.

Brush
The scent is quite a light and of a typical clay mask~
Once you apply the clay to your face, you can't really smell it.
The clay is quite smooth and easy to spread on.

Swatch
The brush allows to you have a variety of thickness. When applied then rubbed, the liner stays on perfectly. The liner is waterproof as stated, and only comes off when it is rubbed after being rinsed with water.

Rinsed Under Water

Rubbed After Rinsed With Water

Good:
~ Easy to use
~ Smooth to draw
~ Light weight, doesn't smudge [when dry] and waterproof
~ Travel Friendly
~ Can create Thick and Thin lines
~ Dries quickly
~ Easy to remove
~ Long lasting
~ When it does get wet and you rub it, it won't create panda eyes

Bad:

~ It comes off easily when in contact with water and when rubbed

Overall
★★★★☆
This is one of my favourite eyeliners, because it's so easy and simple to use. As it is pretty small, I can bring it along with me anywhere and it is quite easy to remove. As it claims, it is smudge-proof and waterproof, it only comes off if rub it after rinsing it with water. I love how the  brush allows me to have a variety of how thin or thick I want the liner to look.
The colour is bright and nicely pigmented.
Those with oily eyelids may need to apply a primer first before using this liner, as the colour may not come out as nicely on your lid.
Other than that, I would recommend you girls to try it out if your looking for an easy-to-use brush liner~ (˘˘)

*this review is 100% of my own honest opinion*

  1. This eyeliner looks so great! I love the feltpen like eyeliners! I use them all the time. :) It's about time that I get a brown one, though. My black one is currently running out, too. ><
My favourite eyeliner is a very similar drugstore eyeliner by essence. :) I'm not sure if you can get it outside of Austria and Germany, though, it's really cheap! But I don't mind as long as it works. :)
Thank you so much for this great review, Charmaine!

  2. I find the liquid eyeliners that look like pens the easiest to use! I'm really bad at putting eyeliner on -.-"
Do you know how long the eyeliner would last? Not on the eye, but how long until you run out of the eyeliner? I find that liquid eyeliners end up running out quite easily.

    1. Same here!! I suck at using the pencils and brushes lol~
I've been using it for about 4 months now and it's still working fine :D
I think this liquid eyeliner lasts quite a while!

  3. This eyeliner looks like a great and easy product to use, especially for an eyeliner newbie like me~ It's also great that it's waterproof cause I tend to have watery eyes :P As of now, I don't really have a favourite eyeliner yet because I'm still trying to find one I love. But so far, the one I am currently using is The Face Shop: Lovely Meex Make Me Star Waterproof Gel Liner and it's not too bad~ Thanks for the review! ^-^

  4. Wow, you must be excited for the cruise! Enjoy! We've also been experiencing rainfall here in the Philippines. It's so gloomy. Summer is really over here.

Anyway, I've always been a fan of brush tip pen liners like these but I've never had one from Etude. I might consider this once I run out of my thefaceshop one. :)

  7. This eyeliner looks nice ^w^ I will add it to my HK list haha~ Does it smudge on oily lids or is it one of these eyeliners that piece off like latex? :O I'm always wondering if the gel eyeliner from Etude house is better than the one from Tony Moly or maybelline >.<
My favorite eyeliner isn't a well known brand but it works wonders and doesn't budge at all all day, it's from Artdeco ^-^ If you ever get the change to go here you should give it a try~ :D
Thanks for this review as always, Charmaine! Have a good blogger day or something :D

    1. I would recommend putting on a primer before using the eyeliner for oily eyelids. When it does get wet and you rub it, it doesn't smudge, it just rubs off.
Artdeco? lol I thought of art pens first XD
I'm so jelly you're going to HK! Have tonnes of fun there mindy~

This sounds like a decent eyeliner, and I love the eye look you did! As of now, the only liquid liner I want to try is a Kat von D one. Those things are apparently stellar and last all day long!
